DRIVING DIRECTIONS

Budawangs - Yadboro & Long Gully > main menu
Provides access to Pigeon House Mountain, The Castle and Monolith Valley.

View a map and satellite photo of the driving route >
Some of the walking tracks and landmarks are clearly visible in some of the satellite photos. Have a play around with it!

Exit the Princes Hwy at Milton NSW and take Croobyar Road. Follow it to the junction of Woodstock Road. Continue along Woodstock/Woodburn Road to the junction of Clyde Ridge Road and make a right hand turn to the west (15.5km from the highway turnoff).

The Clyde Ridge Road is followed for 8.5 km until another right hand turn is made into Yadboro Road.

4.4km further along the Yadboro Road is the turnoff to the Pigeon House carpark.

Continuing a further 9.4km beyond this turnoff will bring you to the Clyde River bridge. Cross the bridge and continue along the winding road towards Long Gully for approximately 5km until you see a small sign which reads "To the Castle". This sign marks the Long Gully turnoff. Turn right and follow the road down the hill to the bottom and go past the camping ground. Cars should be parked at the end of the road.

NOTE: These roads can be very rough from time to time. Although not strictly limited to four wheel drive vehicles, cars with lowered sports suspension will probably not make it through some sections. In wet conditions, these roads can become very slippery and 2WD vehicles can sometimes become bogged.
